Homework
The homework planner is sent home every Monday. It goes home in the homework folder with the newsletter, office notes, and all other hand outs.
The homework folders comes back to school EVERYDAY.
More assignments are given out each day.
ALL the work is returned on Friday.
Each night your child
will have three things to do.
1. Spelling or Phonics
2. Math or Comprehension
3. Reading for 20 minutes

Find a quiet place to do homework.
Math should be done in pencil only.
Don't use any pens or markers.
Don't forget to do it neatly.
Read EVERY night.
Break up your homework into chunks. Take a break if needed
Bring your folder back to school no later than Thursday
Here are several different sheets of paper for you to print out for handwriting. We use this paper in the classroom because it gives the students a visual reminder of where to start writing. I say "TOP to Bottom" or Hat line to the Shoe line. The dotted line is the belt or the bellybutton line.
